The world premiere of the BAVARIA C42<\/h3>\n

The BAVARIA C42 is the logical progression from the BAVARIA C-line, but has its own distinct character. A modern, innovative hull shape with chines and a V-shaped bow developed by BAVARIA YACHTS guarantee both the best sailing performance and an unusually large amount of space below deck.<\/p>\n

The clever details that BAVARIA YACHTS is known for, both above and below deck, has been further refined in the BAVARIA C42, providing this unusual 12.38m long sailing yacht with the best of the newest innovations in yacht building.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”8909″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text 0=””]<\/p>\n

More volume and more performance
\nthanks to chines and V-shaped bow<\/strong><\/h3>\n

BAVARIA CHINES and BAVARIA V-shaped bow: These striking hull design characteristics not only give the BAVARIA C42 more space below deck, they also provide unusual good sailing performance. The BAVARIA CHINES ensure more stability, a longer waterline and therefore better performance and a more direct feeling when steering. But the prominent angle at the stern of the BAVARIA C42 has another advantage. It yields more space for the stern cabin, providing more comfort.<\/p>\n

The BAVARIA V-shaped bow is narrow at the waterline and broadens towards the deck like a V. It was developed by Cossutti Yacht Design from Italy and BAVARIA YACHTS to grant more volume to the hull in the foreship. The additional volume in the bow ensures less trimming when heeling, despite the broad stern, ensuring a safer experience even in swell. And the forward cabin gives the V-shaped bow new dimensions. An iron keel with a ballast ratio of 2700kg and a total weight of just 9600kg supplies sufficient righting momentum.[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”8908″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Extra speed thanks to more sail area<\/h3>\n

When developing the rigging and sail plan, the development team from BAVARIA YACHTS in collaboration with Cossutti Yacht Design focussed on two aspects in particular: easy handling and above-average performance. 54 square metres of sail area for the mainsail and 47 square metres for the genoa sail provide the BAVARIA C42 with an extra portion of power from the wind.<\/p>\n

While sailing with the wind abeam or running before the wind, a Code 0 sail (85 square metres) and a gennaker (140 square metres) ensure maximum speed. The self-tacking jib means the easiest of handling when tacking. What\u2019s more, it\u2019s included in the standard version of the BAVARIA C42. In order to be able to perfectly trim the two-spreader mast on all courses, a backstay and backstay tensioner are also included in the BAVARIA C42\u2019s basic equipment.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”8910″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

More space for the joy of sailing<\/h3>\n

When designing the deck layout, the BAVARIA YACHTS product management team concentrated their efforts on the essential characteristics in order to make space for an important aspect: the joy of sailing. The bow area and side deck provide an unusually large amount of space for a sailing yacht of this size.<\/p>\n

The cockpit, with its ergonomically formed L-shaped seating bench, is also a space winner. The world premiere of the BAVARIA SR41<\/h3>\n

The BAVARIA SR41 kicks off a new line of motorboats from BAVARIA YACHTS. It combines the best of the sporty BAVARIA S-line and the BAVARIA R-line. A comfortable cockpit, a large sunbed which can be transformed in no time into a lounge area with a table right on the waterfront and a large bathing platform. It makes the BAVARIA SR41 the ideal motor yacht for a perfect day on the water with family and friends.<\/p>\n

BAVARIA YACHTS gives the BAVARIA SR41 a new dimension with an intelligent cabin layout. The spacious owner\u2019s cabin has its own bathroom, as do the guest cabins in the bow. Comfort and boating pleasure are the focuses of the new BAVARIA SR41. The BAVARIA SR41 is available as a soft top, hard top and coupe version.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”8901″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text 0=””]<\/p>\n

Boating pleasure and dynamism<\/h3>\n

The BAVARIA SR41\u2019s powerful drive is provided by the familiar Mercruiser petrol engines with twin 355HP (261 kW) in the standard version, up to D6 -380 diesel generators from the newest generation from Volvo Penta, with twin 380HP (279kW). This means that besides convincing boating pleasure, the BAVARIA SR41 also enjoys safety and economic efficiency.<\/p>\n

Large hull windows which fit perfectly into the broad black hull stripe ensure plenty of daylight below deck. From the newly designed helmstand, you have full control over the BAVARIA SR41. All instruments within sight and perfect all-round visibility are, of course, included.[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”8903″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]The BAVARIA SR41\u2019s unique design and layout were developed in cooperation by Marco Casali from Too Design in Italy and the BAVARIA YACHTS development team. This collaboration produced unique and innovative ideas, such as the lounge sun area at the stern of the BAVARIA SR41. As a sunbed, it offers a large surface for relaxation.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”8905″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]Underneath the middle cushion is a lowerable table. If you remove the cushion, you can enjoy lunch in the afternoon right at the waterfront or sip a cool drink while watching the children splash about in the water. And the lounge sun area at the BAVARIA SR41\u2019s stern has another feature too. The backrests can be folded back, transforming the sunbed into a bench in the cockpit.
