The jury decided to merge the “Cruising Multihulls” and “Performance Multihulls” categories, so it is against 6 other models that the 44 OPEN stood out for her exceptional sailing performance and her unequaled level of finish.

I consider this 44 Open to be the perfect size for travelling, with good performance, a reduced draft and room for family and friends. The interior design is smart and welcoming, not as bulky as her competitors but certainly enough to prove very comfortable at anchor. Of all the multihulls on which I had the chance to sail in 2022, this is certainly the one that made the strongest impression on me.

The 44 Open elected in the SAIL Magazine Top 10 Best Boats for 2023!

Every year, SAIL magazine’s experienced boat reviewers spend days and weeks learning what’s new, talking with boatbuilders, examining the boats top to bottom dockside, and finally taking them sailing. This culminates at the U.S. Sailboat Show in Annapolis, where their review team gets together and makes its final assessments on which boats earn top honors. Results were announced in SAIL January/February issue, and full reviews of the winning boats will be published throughout the year.

Thus, the 44 Open catamaran has been placed in the list of the 10 best boats of the year 2023.

It is the work of a whole team that is rewarded. The result of a dynamic collaboration between the different departments and our architects Chedal-Anglay Design and Marc Lombard Yacht Design Group.
